Even though they are long, they are meticulously structured so that you can quickly and easily find the needed knowledge. Each hero guide will give you all the necessary information to pick up a new hero or even to improve with a hero you already play well.
Pittner "bOne7" Armand is a Dota 2 legend. He was the offlaner of the famous (or notorious) C9 squad of EternaLEnVy, SingSing, bOne7, Aui_2000, and pieliedie. He managed to claim nine 2nd places in premier tournaments - a feat the Dota community often makes fun of and refers to as "the 2nd place curse". Realistically speaking, however, being the 2nd best team in the world for 9 major tournaments in the span of about two years is a very impressive achievement and only the very best players and teams in Dota can boast with such consistency.
bOne7 was never famous as one of the most mechanically skilled players. His competitive success came from another important strength: he is without a doubt one of the most creative players in competitive Dota and one of the biggest innovators in the offlane. He invented and brought numerous unorthodox builds into the meta: MOM Batrider, Armlet Clock, and Blademail Nature's Prophet are all his creations. He also introduced heroes to the offlane who were not widely used in this position before, most notably Puck.
This ability to decipher and break the meta is proof of his next-level understanding of the game and it makes bOne one of the best pros you can learn Dota from.

Mirana is one of bOne's favorite heroes. He has more than 300 pub and 50 competitive games on her with a very respectable win rate (57% in pubs, 64% in competitive games).
Mirana is one of the most versatile heroes in Dota - she fits different roles and can be played in all lanes. Moreover, her skill cap is very high. This means that spamming her in pubs can play great dividents when you learn to play her on a high level.

Puck is a very versatile hero and because of this, he has always had a presence in the pro scene. If you are a core player who likes making plays and dictating the tempo of the game more than hitting creeps, Puck is probably one of the best heroes you can add to your arsenal.
He is one of the most active traditional mid lane heroes, but he can also easily go to the side lanes if needed. In fact, bOne7 was one of the first pro players to play Puck as a solo offlaner with great success.
Puck is a hero with a very high skill ceiling, which means there is a lot of room to grow as a Puck player mechanically. If you become good enough, you would be able to outplay your opponents severely and you will find success with him in most of your games.

Clock is perfectly designed for hunting heroes. He has the best initiation spell in the game and he excels at finding, catching and killing back-line heroes, especially if they don't have an escape mechanism. Clock is the exact opposite of a passive hero, which also makes him very fun to play.
Clock is Bone7's most played hero in pubs and his 2nd most played hero in pro games, which makes Bone without a doubt the best person to learn Clock from.

Culling Blade is hands down one of the most satisfying spells to laned in Dota. This in itself makes Axe fun to play, but his aggressive playstyle of a tanky initiator and space creator also helps in this regard.
Bear in mind that Axe is a hero that requires teamwork and excels in certain matchups while struggling in others. To play him on a high level you need good communication with your teammates and great conceptual understanding of the hero - not just mechanical skill.

Bristle is the kind of core hero who loves constant fighting. He is tactically one-dimensional, but he is extremely good at what he does: applying constant pressure to the enemy team and 5-man Dota, which is one of the best pub playstyles.
He is very strong in the early-mid stages of the game and with a good start, he can snowball extremely hard, become unkillable, and secure a very fast victory. If you are good with Bristle, it is realistic to win games in 25-30 minutes. This will make your rank climb significantly faster and will help you avoid late game situations where random mistakes from your teammates could cost you the game.

Tide is one of the most iconic offlaners for a reason:
While he is not very versatile, Tide is a great hero for an offlane player to learn. Very often your teammates will need an offlane hero to secure team fights for them, which will make Tide a great pick in a lot of your pubs, where 5-man Dota is often the most dominant strategy.
Moreover, getting a double 5-man Ravage with Refresher is one of the best feelings in the game and it is something you can reliably achieve most of your Tide games if you become good enough!
Viper is an invaluable addition to a 5-man Dota lineup. Despite being a ranged AGI carry, he is very durable and with a couple of stats items he can become extremely hard to kill. He deals a lot of damage even without farm, which makes him much stronger in the early-mid game than most carries. He is not particularly versatile, but if he dominates his lane and snowballs, he can secure very fast victories.
As is the case with the whole Book of Dota series, all guides are in-depth and have a very wide variety of components. They have a useful navigation and intuitive structure, which helps you find exactly the information you are searching for.
The guides are designed in a way that makes them easy to update when new patches come out or when the meta changes. We will add new replay examples, new gameplay video examples and we will update the builds so that you will always be up to date with the newest and most efficient ways to play the heroes.
The goal of the guides, however, is not to spoon-feed you. We will help you develop a deep understanding of the heroes and their capabilities and role in the game.
