A highlight video of mid Meepo played by Abed created by WooDota2Pro.
Draft: Meepo is a great core against QoP because his net doesn’t allow her to Blink away. This makes killing QoP very easy after he gets an initiation item (Blink or SB), and even before that he can punish her a lot for an aggressive Blink.
Ogre is a great support for Meepo because Bloodlust could proc on multiple clones and increase the total DPS of Meepo a great deal. Legion, on the other hand, can use Press the Attack to save the clone that is getting focused by the enemy team.
Item Build: Ethereal Blade is a great item on Meepo both offensively and defensively. In this game, in particular, the biggest danger for Abed is the burst damage coming from CK. With E-Blade, however, he can cast Ethereal on the Meepo clone CK is focusing in order to save it. He likely buys two only because he is snowballing very hard and winning the game, but it is worth mentioning that the cones use stats very well and E-Blade is the item that gives the most AGI in the game.
Early Game: At min 01:37 of the video Abed showcases the big kill potential of Meepo right when he gets his first clone. He manages to get the SS kill thanks to the low CD of Poof and even survives the enemy counter-gank by teleporting his main Meepo to base and Poofing his clone right after.
Mid & Late Game: one of Meepo’s biggest strengths is his ability to be all over the map at the same time. Abed fully abuses this: he farms different locations with his clones while staying close to his teammates with the main Meepo if he suspects a fight will break out. This allows him to jump in at the perfect moment with Blink + Poof from his clones. Sometimes he also hides a clone at the side lanes and in this way if an enemy is farming alone, he can instantly go there and gank him/her.
